Wood-Laminate-LVT Underlay Recommendation Guide
Each Floorwise underlay has unique performance characteristics. We have included a recommendation table for you to be able to easily compare the underlays.
Please note that generally the denser the underlay the better it is at reducing sound, which is why Rubber underlays are generally better than PE Foam Underlays.
Included in the table are thicknesses, tog ratings, impact sound ratings and our unique sound performance classifications:
USR+ Ultimate Sound Reducer
PSR+ Premium Sound Reducer
ESR+ Enhanced Sound Reducer
GSR+ Good Sound Reducer
BSR Basic Sound Reducer
